moodboard: a series.

the following images are a series of moodboards i made as inspiration for a photoshoot on the subculture 'gangster'. with quotes from films i watched as research, images again from films and books featuring my intended look, my early attempts at gathering research to decide what i would pursue, considering clothing (hair, make up, accesories, props), colour, location and what i wanted to say with my images. i found putting together a series of moodboards more helpful rather than one as it felt like i was also incorporating narrative which i find inspires my photoshoot ideas and makes me generally feel more creative and upbeat about my final.
